世界建筑向什么方向发展？我们有无对应的举措？这两个问题实际上在非常建筑所参与的每一个项目的背后。这两个笼统的问题同时又可分解为许多具体的问题，如材料、空间、社区设施、景观、等等。关于材料：自然生成与自然合成物质的关系在发展、改变，之间的界线越来越模糊。合成材料中含有自然的元素，但比自然材料往往有所进步，无论是就使用性质还是就对生态环境的保护而言。合成材料看起来也是界乎于纯自然和纯自然之间，柔和、丰富。混凝土砌块、结构胶合木、软木板、欧松板、橡胶面材等都是如此。建筑材料的选择从来也不是单纯审美的。正由于以上原因，我们在泰禾陶瓷别墅中选用了多种合成材料。关于空间：院落的发展。院房或室内外空间关系的演变。
There are two questions behind each project of Atelier FCJZ: Where the international architecture develops? Do we have the measures to deal with it? Synthetic material seems in between pure nature and pure artifact, which is soft and rich, such as concrete block, glulam and corkboard, Oriented Strand Board etc. The choice of architectural material is never depends on aesthetic only. For the above reasons, we select a variety of synthetic materials in Taihetaoci villa. About space: the development of the change of relationship between house and courtyard, or interior and exterior spaces.
